Blurry vision may interfere with children's ability to
learn in school. Regular eye exams can detect and correct this and other
vision problems. Be sure to take children to a local eye doctor
(optometrist or ophthalmologist) for an eye exam. Eye exams for young
children are extremely important because children often are more
responsive to treatment when problems are diagnosed early.
Talk with the school nurse about an eye exam for your children
or ask your pediatrician for a referral to an optometrist who
specializes in children.
